Capacity Expansion Project

Work has begun on our new 2,000 square metre facility. Located alongside our existing facility at the Corsham Science Park, the new unit will treble our clean room floor space. Bath ASU will take possession of the new building in the spring with the new manufacturing facilities being commissioned by the November 2016.

Aggregates for on-site use

When work began a key consideration was how to manage, in an environmentally friendly way, the 6,500 tons of material which needed to be cleared to prepare the site. By bringing in a stone recycling unit it has been possible to sort all 6,500 tons of rock on site. We now have 5,500 tons of reusable aggregates and have saved 300 lorry movements to and from the site.

Recycling stone

The larger pieces of stone were bagged and taken away for local building projects.

Some stone was donated to a local South West In Bloom group who were building new flower beds in Midsomer Norton.
