Bath ASU’s new facility is now open

Our new facility opened on 4th May. All departments, except for production, have now moved in. Commissioning and validation of the new clean rooms has started and is expected to be completed by November 2016. This will double our physical capacity but more importantly will enable us to improve our service outputs by having completely separate facilities for patient specific and standardised products.

The new VHP technology and clean room size will enable both an increase in the batch sizes of standardised products and enable additional operational efficiencies which will enable us to deliver on the clear Department of Health initiative on dose banding.

This is a £5m investment for Bath ASU and it is the single biggest aseptic cleanroom development in the UK. It confirms our commitment to providing a robust, future proof commercial compounding service to our UK hospital and home care customers.
